Proposed changes to bus services – Suburb by Suburb

Avoca Beach 65, 69, 66A

  • • New route 66A from Gosford to Avoca Beach would replace routes 65 and 69. Service would operate via a consistent route through Ridgeway Drive and Avoca Drive.

Bensville 60, 64

  • • Existing route 60 would be renumbered to route 64.There would be a minor change to the route in Booker Bay and Woy Woy areas.

Booker Bay/ Blackwall 52, 53, 64

  • • Modified route 53, which would operate via Davis Street, Schnapper Road and Flathead Road. Changes would improve access to buses in the Booker Bay area.

  • • Modified route 64 would provide additional links to Ettalong and Woy Woy as well as providing new links to Kincumber.

  • • New routes 64 and 59 would replace routes 52 and 53. Would operate via a consistent route between Blackwall and Woy Woy.

Budgewoi/ Blue Haven/ San Remo/Doyalson 96

  • • New route 96 from Budgewoi to Wyee would provide peak hour links to the rail network at Wyee.

Copacabana 66, 66C

  • • Existing route 66 would be renumbered to 66C, which would operate via a consistent route in the Kincumber area.

Charmhaven 90, 92

  • • Minor changes to routes 90 and 92, which would provide more direct services and improve journey times. Service would operate via Hobson Avenue, Chelmsford Road and Dudley Street.

Davistown/Saratoga 63, 64

  • • Route 63 and 64 would be replaced by a modified route 63, which would reduce network complexity and provide route consistency in the Davistown area. Modified route 63 would operate in an anti-clockwise direction.

  • • Modified route would operate via Saratoga Shops at the start and the end of the loop.

Empire Bay 60

  • • Route 60 would be renumbered to route 64.

Ettalong 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 57, 59, 60, 64

  • • Routes 51, 52, 53, 54, 57, 59 and 60 would be replaced by new routes 53, 55, 57, 59 and 64. Buses would no longer operate along Memorial Avenue between Barrenjoey Road and Blackwall Road.

Green Point 60, 61, 63, 64, 65, 66, 66A, 66C, 70

  • • Routes 60, 61, 64, 63, 65 and 66 would be replaced by new routes 63, 64, 65, 66A and 66C.

  • • In Koolang Road and James Sea Drive route 70 would be replaced by modified route 63.

Killcare/Pretty Beach/Wagstaffe 61, 65

  • • Current route 61 would be renumbered to route 65. In the Kincumber area modified route 65 would operate via a consistent route.
    • • Routes 60, 61, 65 and 66 would be replaced by new routes 64, 65, 66A and 66C.
    • • All routes would operate via a consistent route through Kincumber.
    • • Brentwood Village (Scaysbrook Drive) would be serviced by route 64.

    Koolewong/Point Claire 50, 51, 52, 53, 55

    • • Routes 50, 51, 52 and 53 would be replaced by new route 55 (Ettalong to Gosford).

    McMasters Beach 61, 65

    • • Route 61 would be renumbered to route 65.

    Patonga/ Umina Beach 50, 54

    • • Current route 50 would be replaced by modified route 54 (Woy Woy to Patonga or Castle Circuit).

    Tascott 55

    • • Current occasional diversion via The Broadwaters and Bluefish Crescent would be discontinued – route 55 diversions would be modified to operate via Glenrock Parade direct.

    Woy Woy 53, 64, 59

    • • Route 53 diversions via Brick Wharf Road and Burge Road would be replaced by full time route 64 and occasional route 59.
