Key parts of the Hunter Valley Buses Region 2 proposed network
The proposed changes would improve
services in the Maitland and Raymond Terrace
areas by:
• Introducing a new direct link between Raymond Terrace, Woodberry and Stockland Greenhills on weekdays.
• Introducing new services to growing residential areas in Aberglasslyn and Rutherford.
• Introducing services to Bolwarra Heights and improving the route through Bolwarra and Largs.
• Simplifying the route network in the East Maitland area.
• Introducing regular route services at night
and on weekends in some suburbs of
Maitland, replacing the current “on call”
service.
• Providing more direct trips between Maitland, Rutherford, Branxton and Singleton.
• Improving the local town service in Raymond Terrace (route 141).
• Enhancing services to the Tomago industrial area during weekday peak periods.
• Providing better coverage in the Medowie area, including services to Medowie Shops.
• Enhancing connections between Raymond Terrace and the Tilligerry Peninsula.
• Introducing new services to the Fern Bay Estate.
• Providing more reliable connections to the ferry at Stockton.
