Sydney Metro Region 7 Proposed Bus Network Changes

An update of the bus network for the Western Region has commenced. The community consultation for Region 7 is being carried out by Sydney Buses, please click here to visit the consultation website.

The changes are designed to a provide a more efficient and simple to understand bus network that would provide:

• additional weekend evening services to Lane Cove, Macquarie Park and Marsfield.

• a faster, more efficient Sydney CBD service from Marsfield on Route 293 through the introduction of PrePay-Only ticketing and routing via the Lane Cove Tunnel.

• improved connections between bus and rail.

• additional wheelchair accessible services.

• three Route 254 trips will extend from Riverview to/from Ross Smith Parade via River Road West at approximately 10am, 12pm and 2pm Monday to Saturday
